Our shop plays a vital role in providing essential supplies and fostering a sense of community among allotment members. However, due to recent challenges, we’re facing a shortage of volunteers, which may result in the shop being unable to operate on certain weekends.
We require members to volunteer to cover shifts on the following dates, as well as more long term volunteers in order to keep the shop open:
- March 3
- March 10
- March 17
- March 23
- March 30
- March 31 (We currently have no cover at all for this date)
- April 14
- April 20
- April 21
Your assistance is instrumental in ensuring the continued success of our shop. Whether you can commit to a regular shift or offer occasional help, your contribution will greatly impact our ability to serve the community effectively.
If you’re interested in volunteering or would like more information, please contact Shop Manager Rosie Glynn at shop@hwdaa.co.uk. Ideally a volunteer will do a minimum of two shifts as the first shift will be a training shift.
