Green Waste Compost
Green waste compost is delivered to all sites for tenants to use on their plots. This green waste is an excellent resource to use as mulch on beds. Tenants can pay £4 per barrowload or £39 for a year’s subscription (approximately 30 wheelbarrow loads).
Payments can be made at the shop by card or cash, or directly as a bank transfer to our account. Please put your site and plot number, as well as “Compost” as a reference. Please ensure a record is kept if you pay in the shop.
Online Seed Ordering
For those tenants who can’t make it into the shop, seeds can be ordered online through the King’s seeds website. They have an extensive range of seeds, plugs, trees and more available, which you can access at a reduced price. To sign up to the scheme, send an email to shop@hwdaa.co.uk. You will then be directed to set up a password to gain access to their website. Shipping usually takes place within 7 days.
Garden Centre Discounts
HwDAA has also negotiated 10% discount on plants in Riverside and Brackenwood garden centres for its tenants.
