HwDAA is one of Bristol’s two independent allotment associations. Our rent, rules, governance and policies are separate from Bristol City Council managed plots and associations.
We manages six sites in west Bristol, five in Bower Ashton and one in Ashton Vale. Our tenants usually come from Clifton, Ashton, Bedminster, Hotwells and Southville. Each site is different but you’ll find all of them welcoming whether you’ve got green fingers or are getting your hands dirty for the first time.

Our Association
We are a Co-operative Society set up over 100 years ago. We manage six allotment sites across the BS3 area.

HwDAA manages six sites within BS3, five in the surrounds of Ashton Court estate and one in Ashton Vale.

HwDAA is led by an elected committee with a mix of administrative functions as well as site reps for each of our sites.
